Marathon Day things didn't go as planned.  I cramped up the last few miles and was barely able to run through the finish.  Couldn't have asked for better conditions.

I still finished 3:22:25 so it was respectable just not where I wanted to be.  The calves started to cramp up at mile 19-20, but I was still able to keep the pace.  With just under 2 miles to go my quads and groin cramped up really bad, and my quads felt like they were going to give way.  My 25th mile was at 8:59 pace, and then my 26th was at 10:41.  It was all I could do to run to the finish.  I lost my goal in the last 2-3 miles, but it was still a good run.

I'll get there soon enough.  Even if I have to wait until I'm 40.  No just kidding the goal is still 3:15.

Ran the first 4 at 7:45, but I had to walk and jog from there due to my ITB flaring up on me.  First post marathon run, and I must have injured my ITB which I wasn't aware of until this run.

Legs felt a lot better today.  My ITB doesn't like anything beyond 4 miles.  That's when I started feeling it again (the knife) so I had to slow way down, but at least I was able to run it out this time so it's making progress.  My splits were:  8:25, 7:59, 7:58, 7:57, 8:48, and 9:57.

The ITB held up pretty good today.  I was able to run 6 without slowing down at the end.  I'm still feeling it, but it's making great progress.  I'll continue to roll it on the foam.

It is chilly in the morning.  I can't wait until the time change to get a little light in the morning.

Didn't run I had to be in Vegas early today.  I went on a date with my 2nd daughter though, and we rode our bicycles on the Virgin River trail system this evening.  Had to bundle up.  We went an easy 9 miles.  It was a good time.

I ran on the treadmill this morning so my wife could run with her friend.  I hate the treadmill.  The legs felt good.  It was probably good for my ITB.  I ran the first mile at 8:19, the next three at 8:00, and finished up at 7:30, and 7:24.

Dace and I  ran on the Virgin River Trail system.  We just kept it close to 8:00 pace so I could finish with my ITB.  It held up pretty good.  I just felt a little twinge, but it's progressing well.

It felt good to sleep in until 6:45.  We met up around 7:15.
