The race starts at Wood's Ranch and then you run back and forth through neighborhoods for the last couple of miles.  The last few miles were tough espcially the last 1.5 or so with the uphill parts after running all of the downhill.

It was a PR for me which is what I was hoping for.  I was distantly hoping for a 1:30, but wasn't in the shape I've been in for previous half marathon.  I felt good overall about the performance because I don't think I left much in the tank.

I got to visit with Butch on the way up the canyon which was good.

Great race- we must have been very close during the race as I ended up at 1:34 and change. I took it way too easy the last few miles being a whimp!
