Ran at a moderate pace today.  Ankle felt great even though it's still pretty swollen.  I was up on the mountain so I ran at about 8,000 ft.

AP was 8:18 overall.

Last run before the marathon.  It felt great.  Temperature was great if we could just get rid of the winds.  The ankle felt good, and I iced it afterwards.

AP was 7:44 with the winds.

Marathon Day things didn't go as planned.  I cramped up the last few miles and was barely able to run through the finish.  Couldn't have asked for better conditions.

I still finished 3:22:25 so it was respectable just not where I wanted to be.  The calves started to cramp up at mile 19-20, but I was still able to keep the pace.  With just under 2 miles to go my quads and groin cramped up really bad, and my quads felt like they were going to give way.  My 25th mile was at 8:59 pace, and then my 26th was at 10:41.  It was all I could do to run to the finish.  I lost my goal in the last 2-3 miles, but it was still a good run.

I'll get there soon enough.  Even if I have to wait until I'm 40.  No just kidding the goal is still 3:15.
